Flora - Kaytie Kaytie Wu

Lately I have been expanding my jewellery collection. I keep wondering to myself why I have made this change to my overall style. I always wonder why women love jewellery, maybe it's because jewellery doesn’t discriminate, it doesn’t matter what size, shape or skin color someone is, they can always find something unique and beautiful that suits them, or perhaps its because such simple designs composed of metal and crystals can have such an important impact on a person’s attitude and outlook on life. For me, wearing jewellery echoes the type of confidence that comes from truly feeling yourself, it sends a message to society without uttering a single word.
I was drawn to Kaytie Wu's jewellery as an addition to my collection. Kaytie Wu is a brand re-launched and created by jewellery designer Kaytie Wu in 2015. Kaytie has rich experience in jewellery and fashion, and always wanted to create and design a contemporary brand out of her own thinking for independent women like herself.
Her pieces are strongly influenced by the Minimalist art movement and her love of Japanese architecture, the debut collection ‘Geo’, all in fine gold/silver plating and Swarovski crystals, shows her art direction with strong commercial underpinning. I chose pieces from the new Kaytie Kaytie Wu collection which is the younger sister of the eponymous Kaytie Wu brand. It follows the same Minimalist style of Kaytie Wu, adding fun and colour to some of the most popular geometric shapes.
Being a lover of all things floral I selected some Earrings and a Necklace from the Flora series which is a captivating and delicate range that is crafted from Sterling Silver. In addition to this I loved the pretty Pastel Pink Cubic Zirconia Ring to add a pop of colour to my style. I'm sure you can see from the pictures on this post that the pieces are so delicate and sophisticated. They have really added a sense of flair and elegance to my look and I can't wait to experiment with different ways to wear the collection.

You can purchase the Kaytie Wu range online but it is also available from a number of Official UK stockists linked here.
