Minimalism with Narrow Arrow

I was so grateful to be given the chance to collaborate with Narrow Arrow on this Autumn shoot. They are a creatively driven brand who are excited to be a part of the slow fashion movement.

Refusing to indulge in passing trends and reject the concept of throwaway fashion. They never stop designing, evolving or experimenting in their constant quest for innovation.
All of their designs are carefully considered and handmade with love by the talented team of seamstresses in their Birmingham studio. Taking pride in their attention to detail, ensuring the garments are beautifully finished… even on the inside where you can’t see.
They embrace bold minimalism as their signature aesthetic. By combining striking silhouettes with chic simplicity, they invite all women to use the collections as a blank canvas for raw personality and own individual style.

I chose to style the Yatta Culottes in Merlot and Shikaku 4-Way Obiage Wrap Top in Merlot/Ice Grey, from their HAIKU AW17 Collection.
YATTA is the Japanese word for ‘Yay!’ because Narrow Arrow designed and handmade the world’s most perfectly chic culottes. The silhouette created by the ultra-wide leg makes these comfortable, cropped grey trousers an effortlessly chic wardrobe staple. Featuring pocket sides and an elasticated waistband, perfect for storing a lipstick, iPhone, or simply keeping your hands nice and toasty!

The SHIKAKU top completely embodies the Narrow Arrow brand vision. Their Shikaku is a synergy of innovation and timeless design, developing unique versatility into high quality wardrobe staples.

This one garment has FOUR unique ways to wear! Eternally stylish with subtle Japanese inspired cuts and shapes, including 3/4 kimono sleeves, innovated to be highly versatile that will give you four distinct looks. Tie to fit with an overlong obiage belt. Two design options - Wrap the top over at the back for a high fashion look that features a stylishly low V back. Wrap the top over at the front to instantly take your look from desk to dance-floor as a bold kimono wrap with a dramatically deep V-neck. Two colour options - Wear the wrap in a deep merlot hue for a high end, minimalist look. Or turn the wrap inside-out to wear in a shade of Ice Grey that exudes effortless chic.

You can see the full HAIKU AW17 Collection here, I’d love you to share how you style the collection!

Love Ciandra x
